Another week, another wave of Microsoft 365 changes.
From July 27 to August 2, Microsoft dropped:
• 46 new Message Center announcements
• 34 updated messages
• 17 new roadmap items
• 82 updated roadmap items
Here are 6 key items from last week that should actually be on your radar:
• Copilot Chat in Edge now understands your open YouTube videos
Roadmap ID 499424 — Copilot in Edge for Business can contextually analyze YouTube tabs to generate smarter responses. Edge just became creepily helpful.
• Copilot Communication Memory arrives in September
MC1127234 — AI summaries of your recent chats, emails, and files will be used to personalize Copilot. More context means smarter responses… and possibly new headaches.
• Copilot Studio adds support for Adaptive Cards
MC1126842 — The latest version of Adaptive Cards is coming to Copilot Studio, giving Power Platform devs better tools for custom Copilot interfaces.
• New health monitoring for Power Platform resources
MC1126234 — Admins now have visibility into the operational health of apps in Power Platform and Power Apps. Fewer blind spots = better uptime.
• Autopatch groups now support Windows 11 upgrades
MC1126054 — With Windows 10 support ending Oct 14, 2025, Autopatch groups can help stagger the rollout to Windows 11.
• Azure DevOps Conditional Access changes required by Sept 4
MC1123830 — Microsoft Entra will require updated Conditional Access policies that explicitly include Azure DevOps. Yes, even if you thought you already had that covered.
