Introducing Inspect 365 — a tool we built because visibility into Microsoft 365 shouldn’t be this hard.
At Summit Technology, our team manages Microsoft 365 environments every day. But over time, we realized we were missing things — not because we didn’t care, but because the tools we had weren’t telling us the full story.
Devices we thought were fully protected were falling out of compliance. Endpoints weren’t always onboarding correctly into Intune or Defender. Some had dropped out entirely — silently — with no alerts, no tickets, and no indication anything was wrong.
That’s why we built Inspect 365.
What started as an internal tool gave us the ability to quickly identify devices that weren’t up-to-date, hadn’t onboarded properly, or were missing protections altogether. It helped us catch dormant accounts left behind after employee exits. And it let us surface gaps we didn’t know existed — all without jumping between portals or pulling CSVs using scripts.
But what really mattered most was this: helping us find toxic combinations of risk.
We know every environment has some level of risk. But not all risk is equal. A standard user with an outdated laptop? Not great. But a privileged role using a device with critical vulnerabilities? That’s a potential disaster.
Inspect 365 helps IT teams spot those dangerous combinations faster — so you can take action before they lead to real problems.
Now, we’re bringing this tool to others. If you’re responsible for Microsoft 365 and you’ve ever felt like you were one step behind — we built this for you.
This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to share more in the weeks ahead. If you’re struggling to get full visibility or enforce consistent security in Microsoft 365, sign up now for our private beta at https://inspect365.app
Let’s make security more visible, more manageable, and a whole lot less reactive.
