I've seen a lot of orgs with unassigned Microsoft licenses, burning $$$. We built technology at Summit Technology LLC to ensure no license goes unassigned for our fully-managed customers and now we have released this for all customers that we provide Microsoft licensing to.

Automatic License Adjustment (Auto-trim in the picture below): At renewal, our platform automatically matches the number of licenses in your subscription to the number of users assigned in your tenant. This reduces licensing overspend by removing unused licenses, saving you money and ensuring you only pay for what you need.
